Golf Stance Lesson
A good golf stance can be achieved only after you have established a good consistent grip. Far too often players will address the ball first then grab the club to accommodate the stance. This sequence will lend itself to many topped shots or inconsistent ball flight. Properly take your grip on the club first and then step up to the ball. The most important factor involving the stance is that it be comfortable.
The basic elements of the stance:
- Align the shoulders and knees along the target line.
- Slightly bend the knees to allow for the body to turn.
- Swing on balance.
