Located on the highest point of the Cotswolds, Owl Cottage is a linked cottage built in traditional Cotswold style around a Courtyard. Visitors have the use of a nine acre meadow with a nature trail and wonderful views over the Windrush Valley, which adjoin the grounds of Wyck Hill House Hotel. Two miles away, the attractive market town of Stow-on-the-Wold has interesting shops, pubs, antiques and restaurants. It is an ideal centre for visits to Bourton -on-the-Water, Moreton-in-Marsh and the many picturesque villages of the Cotswolds. Cheltenham, Oxford, Stratford-on-Avon, Warwick Castle and Blenheim Palace are all within an hour’s drive.

Accommodation

Recently renovated, the cottage is tastefully furnished, and contains a comfortable living area, separate kitchen equipped with electric cooker and hob, fridge, freezer and microwave. There is a utility room with washing machine and WC on the ground floor. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms – a double and a twin – and a bathroom with toilet.

Facilities

TV, DVD, Full central heating. Electricity included in main season; at other times, a charge of £5 per day (or £25 per week) is payable direct to owner. Bed linen and towels provided. One reserved parking space, but ample space for other cars. One well-behaved Pet welcome. No smoking in the house.
